A Call to Action
At Thrive Community Support Circle, we are dedicated to fostering an inclusive and supportive space for all. While our services are open to everyone, we recognize that many of the individuals and families we serve are Indigenous, with approximately 70% identifying as First Nations and 25% as Métis (2025 stats). We are continually learning and striving to deepen our understanding of Indigenous cultures, histories, and ways of knowing. Rooted in principles of equity, reconciliation, and community empowerment, we align our efforts with the Calls to Action. We invite our funders and sponsors to join us in creating a future where healing, respect, and cultural reclamation are at the heart of everything we do.

Every Child Matters
In 2021, the tragic discovery of 215 children buried at the Kamloops Residential School brought to light the deep sorrow, grief, and trauma caused by these schools. Children and their families continue to suffer from the lasting impacts of these injustices, and the pain of intergenerational trauma still affects Indigenous peoples across Canada. While we cannot undo the past, we can work together to build a better future. At Thrive, we are committed to reconciliation and to honoring the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s 94 calls to action. We support this work by offering cultural programming and a holistic approach to healing. We will continue to listen, celebrate Indigenous culture, and foster the healing of the wounds of a painful history.
