Parent Management Committee

Thrive Early Learning Centre’s Parent Involvement is Essential

We invite parents and caregivers to actively engage and be a part of our program. Your interaction and involvement are key to building a strong, supportive community and enhancing children’s developmental outcomes. Your involvement is a requirement of our ELCC (Early Learning and Child Care) licensing under provincial regulations.

Join our Parent Advisory Committee to share your voice, provide input, and strengthen the connection between families and our centre. Together, we create a supportive environment where children thrive!

The Thrive Early Learning and Centre holds Parent Management Committee meetings once a month.

The committee serves a variety of functions:

  • to discuss topics that are important to our centre
  • to offer input into the day-to-day happenings
  • the committee may provide feedback to the Thrive Board of Directors, to the Director and ECE staff

Parents’ voices a tremendous value, and the committee also fulfills a requirement for our provincial license.

The Parent Management Committee represents the diversity within our community and contributes to the benefit of every family within the centre.

All parents, caregivers and guardians of children registered at the childcare centre are eligible to participate as a member of the Parent Management Committee.
