The Circle of Voices encourages equality, strengthens unity and expresses wisdom. We gather to support, to inspire and to teach each other while embracing who we are.
Our Elder, Linda Migwans has shared with us these words about this program: “While having this honour of walking with you in the Circle, I have seen the growth and healing that we have journeyed through. This process although emotional, has demonstrated several benefits. We form a sisterhood and a self-supporting group, that discusses varying topics. Some of these topics are lifestyle changes of single parenting, being a grandparent and family expectations. We discuss addiction and change; sometimes we talk about resilience and determination when they are the only ones in their family unit who are trying to maintain sober lifestyles. We have become stronger together and built a network of comfort and support.”
