Thrive Community Support Circle is honored to welcome Billie Schibler as our Elder-in-Residence!

Billie is here to offer guidance and support to our staff as we walk alongside the community in a good way—rooted in respect, balance, and connection. As we continue serving Indigenous families and individuals, along with all those who seek support, we recognize that our healing and well-being are deeply tied together.

Led by Karlita and Steve, our outreach team, supported by dedicated volunteers, sets out to provide food, clothing, and supplies to those in need across the West End. We visit shelters, encampments, park benches, and bus stops, sharing information about Thrive’s free services and programs.

Our team is always greeted with appreciation, and through meaningful conversations, we do not only offer physical aid but also emotional support, making individuals feel seen, heard, and valued.

Together, we’re building a more connected, compassionate, and safer community in the West End.
