Born and raised in Winnipeg, Serena grew up in a household where they often faced risk. Over time, they found comfort and expression through creativity, exploring improv, music, and visual art.
As a transgender individual, Serena has found a welcoming community at Thrive. They look forward to arriving each week, exploring new creative endeavours with art program participants and continuing to share their passion and creativity with others.
