Tuesday mornings at 10:30 am

Friday afternoons at 1:30 pm

This is the time when our safety outreach team sets out on its mission to bring comfort and aid to those in need. Led by dedicated staff members Karlita and Steve, along with a spirited group of volunteers, the team distributes food, clothing, and other supplies to community members. We also bring information about Thrive’s free services and programs.

Thrive’s van moves through the west end visiting shelters, encampments, park benches, and bus stops, always greeted with recognition and appreciation. The team connects with people, making them feel seen, heard, and valued. The volunteers engage in meaningful conversations, offering not just physical aid but emotional support.

We love our West End community in Winnipeg and are proud to support our neighbours by connecting with them and showing how much we care. Together, we are creating a more connected, compassionate, and safer community.
